1) Millised on .ee domeeni registreerimise olulisemad nõuded?

.ee domeeni registreerimisel tuleb registripidajal kontrollida registreerija või tema esindaja isikusamasus (LINK - https://eis-dup.voog.com/registripidaja/abi-ja-info/domeenireeglid-ja-registrileping#isiku-tuvastamine) ja tegema kindlaks tema tahte ning sõlmima teenuselepingu kirjalikus või kirjalikult taasesitavas vormis. Registripidajal on kohustus säilitada tõesus, et teenuseleping sõlmiti just selle registreerijaga, millega registreerija nõustus. Samuti tuleb regisripidajal teavitada .ee domeeni registreerijat EIS-i isikuandmete kasutamise alustest (LINK - https://eis-dup.voog.com/domeenid/eis-i-isikuandmete-kasutamise-alused).
EIS is the controller of domain-related data and accredited .ee registrars are authorised by EIS to act as the processor of personal data on behalf of EIS. Registrar has an obligation to comply with the requirements laid down in the Registrar Contract.
In the service contract registrar must stipulate that  the applicable Domain Regulation constitutes standard terms to fulfill the legal relationship between the EIF, the Registrant and the Registrar. Also that the Registrant has an obligation to the EIF to comply with the applicable Domain Regulation and instructions specifying the Domain Regulation, as published on the EIF website. In addition, registrar must fix that EIF may require the Registrant to fulfill its obligations to the EIF under the service contract and the application for registration of the domain.
No, it is possible to register a domain without specifying any name servers. In that case the domain will only exist in the registry database and not be propagated into DNS.
The Registrar preserves the documents during the term of validity of the Contract and for a period of 10 (ten) years after the expiry of the Contract, except upon the transfer of the documents into the possession of EIF upon the expiry of the Contract. Registrar has obligation to protect documents against damage by working out the appropriate procedures.

The Registrar has to established internal provisions within its business, which regulate the obligations of the Registrar’s employees in the processing of personal data, including ensuring the availability, secrecy and integrity of the data, and the making of redundancy copies of personal data, and controls the fulfilment of the named internal provisions.
