The price for .ee domains will be reduced by 14 percent in 2017
As of 1 January 2017, the cost for
.ee domains will be 6, 12 or 18 euros based on the length of the registration
period. Starting 1 May 2017, national .ee domains can also be registered for 3,
6 or 9 months, and up to 10 years.
In addition to the price fall as of 1
May 2017, it will be possible to register the .ee domain for a shorter period
of 3, 6 or and 9 months for the price of 1.60, 3.20 and 4.80 euros
respectively. It will also be possible to register the .ee domain in addition
to 1, 2 and 3 year periods for up to 10 years. Price differentiation for
periods longer than one year is not applied. With domain regulation amendments coming into force at the start of the year, the Foundation will also stop asking for postal addresses when registering for an .ee domain.
The mentioned prices are the fees that apply to service providers for domain registration. The individual domain registration applicant fee will be set by the service providers. VAT will be added to the price.
