Mare Vahtre, Head of Marketing and Communications at the Estonian Internet Foundation, has been elected Co-Chair of the CENTR Marketing Working Group, which brings together European domain registries. In her new role, she will help strengthen cooperation between European domain registries in marketing and communications and support the exchange of best practices across the sector.

Estonian Internet Foundation (EIF) has developed proposed amendments to the .ee domain rules, driven by the objectives set out in the 2025–2027 EIF strategy. These changes are intended to help develop registry services that better meet the expectations of the community. We are now also inviting feedback on these proposals from the community.

Authentication is usually taken for granted and, in many ways, almost invisible: the user chooses a suitable authentication method, verifies their identity, and continues using the service. But what happens when the authentication service itself stops working?
