While the growth in new .ee domain registrations clearly jumped higher than before due to Covid 19, then this year’s results are even more obvious and total growth in registry size is 8.8%. It can therefore be concluded that, regardless of various foreign online platforms, a personal website is still considered to be one of the most important e-channels.

Companies that offer customers software solutions that inevitably require the electronic identification of end-users in Estonia or other EU countries will now be able to use the new eeID service, which allows them to interface with 3 services at once (Smart-ID, Mobile-ID and ID-card). This is not a separate new electronic identification solution, but it is a convenient way to consolidate existing services into a single environment.

We are looking for an experienced Ruby software engineer to push our open-source domain registry solution to a new level and join our small ambitious team. We develop and manage Estonian top level domain .ee, its registry and DNS system. Most of the software we use is developed in house.
