eeID just got better: you can now embed it in your website
eeID, the identity verification service built by the Estonian Internet Foundation, has a new feature: you can now integrate it directly into your website or digital service. Therefore, identity verification can become a natural part of logging in, creating an account or any other step where you need to know who your user is.
A shorter, smoother journey for your users
Your clients no longer need to leave your website and finish verification in a separate window. They stay in a familiar place from start to finish. Every extra step or redirect is another point where a user might give up. When everything happens on one page, the journey is shorter and clearer. That's good for your users and for your business.
Strong identity verification, worldwide
eeID is a secure, passwordless identity verification service for businesses that need to know who is on the other side of the screen. It helps you prevent identity fraud and lets you verify customers around the world through a single integration. eeID also takes the admin work of identity verification and authentication off your hands, so your IT team has more time for what matters.
The platform brings together national identification methods from seven European countries, from Estonia's Smart-ID+ to Belgium's CSAM. For customers elsewhere, you can use Veriff's video-based identity verification. Your users can then log in with FIDO passkeys. Passwordless login tackles one of the most stubborn security problems: weak and reused passwords. That makes your service safer for you and for your customers.
You can adapt eeID to your organisation's needs, and you pay per transaction, only for what you actually use. This means eeID also works well if you don't handle tens of thousands of authentications.

Starting a company? You can now reserve your .ee domain at the same time
The Estonian Internet Foundation (EIF) and the Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK) have added two new services to the e-Business Register that allow entrepreneurs to reserve or book a .ee domain name already during the company formation process. The solution helps entrepreneurs think about registering their .ee domain name right from the start, and avoid problems in situations where a company's name is already public in the Business Register but the matching .ee domain has not yet been registered.
